The Needle Light was born from a collection of unused knitting needles. We saw potential in their raw, elegant form. Reimagining them as a unit for construction, we set out to design a product that harnesses their materiality and retains their precise function. With a simple, sleek steel body, hardwood core, and cotton string shade, the Needle Light brings a charming glow to any room.
SOURCING
Needles gifted by friends and purchased from the Center for Creative Reuse, along with our cotton thread. American-made steel sourced from Metal Supermarket in Cranberry, PA. Plug, wire and socket from Grand Brass Lamp Parts, the oldest lamp parts manufacturer and distributor in America, operating out of Connecticut. Our socket is one of their patented designs.
